I'd like to see Rush on their current tour if possible - Possibly in Seattle in October. Their opening night was last night (June 7) in Los Angeles. I saw that someone recorded it and posted it on YouTube.

Annika Nilles did a wonderful job at the gig, kudos to her.
Unpopular opinion: I'm not a fan of Geddy Lee's singing recently. He's having a harder time hitting the high notes, understandably, and it seems like he either drops it down way too far or struggles to his the notes he used to hit. I'd think taking everything down a notch might be better.

Just would'nt be the same without Neil Peart.

There are plenty of drummers that can play those songs note for note. It's nice hear a fresh take and her style is pretty incredible all on its own, so adding that to Rush is a plus.

Woah, chick drummer? I'm in.
Hopefully I can find some live vids.

They were great. I love that they're playing a significantly different set each night. We were treated to all of Moving Pictures, in order (Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, YYZ, etc.). Dreamline and New World Man were also surprise "first time played" this tour songs. I think there are still some unplayed songs that they've likely worked-up for Saturday and future cities/shows. So far, they haven't played anything from Caress, Power Windows, T4E, or Vapor Trails (maybe others I'm not recalling), but still - a very full night of music. And Anika killed it. I've been a fan of hers since she first appeared on YouTube like 12 or more years ago, and though she's not traditionally a "Rush-type" drummer, she's absolutely an incredible drummer and she's sounding great with Rush. A great choice. Highly recommended.

There's a 2 hour video in 4k that I watched on Youyube today. They play very well together. I wish Geddy still had a strong voice, but he's an
old guy now. Anika provides a lot of energy to the group. I liked the show.
It's so ingrained in my mind that it hurts to hear him trying to hit the same notes on the older stuff. I'd like to hear them on the 2026 tour playing some of the newer stuff when he dropped the range a bit

There were couple of times I cringed, but they can still play. Same
as you, I wish I could have heard them live back in the 80s and 90s.

YouTube suggests a few to me whenever I log on, so I am pretty sure
you can find them. ;)
Is there a version with a pro-audio setup?
it has always hurt me to hear him sing.
maybe they are touring because of bad business deals.

That happens. It could be like the old quarterback or fighter who thinks they got one more in them.

Yes, and those situations ALWAYS end up making them look bad. This case is no different.
Honestly, I grew up in the 70's/80's when they were in their prime. Never did like them, even then. It's the voice, I guess. He sounds like an adolescent boy going through puberty when your voice is changing. The rest of it is fine, but... can't get past that voice. I've always been amazed at the cult-like following of Rush fans, and I just don't understand the attraction.

I get it, some can't stand his voice, I like his voice because it's a unique voice and Rush would'nt be Rush without his voice.

Or maybe they just want to reclaim a little of the glory days.
Give me Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Stones, Aerosmith, Jimmy, Doors, etc... but
I Lvoe all these bands, and Rush to.

How does Rush look bad? I don't see the harm in them going on another tour if they want to. They're drawing a lot of fans; I'd go see them
but the ticket prices are a bit high (which does seem a little odd).

I like the songs and their skill with their instruments. Alex is a
great guitarist, Geddy is a great bassist & keyboardist, and Neil Peart was one of the best drummers in music. Their music had a particular
sound (and it changed a bit as they changed their style a bit through
the years). And I think the lyrics in many of their songs are good
too.
I think they're good people too. In interviews & such, I have the
sense that they're just good people, and they don't take themselves too seriously.

Well.... I thought it was pretty obvious. They sound horrible, at least the vocals do.
Agreed on Alex and Neil, no doubt. It's Geddy that I think is dragging them down, but I thought that in 1980 also. ;-)

I do understand that MANY people love Rush, but I don't understand why. That's OK though, as music is quite a variable thing with people. Some people don't like Pink Floyd. <BOGGLE>

Do you think Geddy is just an overall bad musician? He doesn't just do vocals, he also plays bass & keyboards.
